What material are CAPA protective covers made from?

Our products have to fulfill a number of criteria. They have to be breathable, waterproof, surface-friendly, affordable and light at the same time, and in addition protect from UV light. CAPAtex® fulfills all these requirements. The trademarked material consists of a ‘non-woven’, that is a tightly taffeta-lined polypropylene fleece fabric. Generally we utilize a single-layer “mono layer” fabric, weighing 160 gram/cm², along the sides for reasons of breathability; along the roof area, however, we use a so-called trilaminate, consisting of two layers of CAPAtex® with a waterproof PE film worked in in between them. This serves to avoid the permeation of water or snow accumulating on the roof through the material. Moreover, this combination is noticeably more resilient.
